Monitored play
Monitored play runs May-September at the Wixon Courts at 145 Old Chatham Rd. Outside monitored play hours, the Wixon Courts operate as public courts and may be used by anyone on a first-come, first-served basis.
Online Store
Visit our online store to support FODP. All commissions go directly to our nonprofit and are a modest source of our funding. FODP receives no financial support from the Town, so store purchases help us cover the modest expenses required to keep programs running smoothly.

Download TeamReach Mobile App. TeamReach is our primary communication tool for player updates. Download the app and join the group DennisPB01 to receive real-time announcements on monitored play delays or cancellations, as well as player-to-player messages and court updates.
Mission
Friends of Dennis Pickleball (FODP) is a volunteer-run 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to supporting the Town of Dennis’s monitored pickleball program and improving access to safe, enjoyable public play. FODP was originally formed to help refurbish the Wixon Courts and has grown into the organization that recruits and organizes the volunteers who make monitored play possible, ensuring that two trained monitors are present at every session.
Membership fees
Membership fees ($55 for Dennis residents and $75 for non-residents) are collected by the Town of Dennis Recreation Department and support the Town’s operating costs. FODP receives no portion of these fees. Our funding comes entirely from small commissions through our online store and occasional partnerships with local organizations, which allow us to invest in facilities, equipment, and programs that benefit players of all ages and skill levels.
Our mission is to strengthen the pickleball community in Dennis by promoting sportsmanship, inclusiveness, and a welcoming environment for everyone who steps on the court.
